The story actually contains nothing about how Bush destroyed the Laws of War except the implication that he authorized torture. The description of Lincoln's experience with the laws of war is much like the situation Bush found us to be in. And they way Bush approached the problems of war seems very similar to how Lincoln approached it as well. Needless to say Bush is evil. Don't forget it. There seem to be a lot of stories going around with needless reminders of this state of mind. It is rather pathetic and humorous in so far as Obama has not made much of a break with Bush's policies in this area as of yet and he seems to be affirming what the Bush administration did.
